“Jathedar Sahib Jee (Sri Kesgarh Sahib) said that it is not mandatory for sikh women to keep dastaar on top of their head s (Keski). This has only been started by Bhai Randhir Singh. Prior to that, nowhere in history can you find evidence for this, it was not even an issue. Someone please come forth and prove to me that prior to that time (Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh ji’s time), it was maryada for women to keep dastaar on their heads.”
